What’s going on guys, my name's Theoatrix and today I'm going through 15 fast ways to 99 fletching. These include a few expensive methods, but I'm also showing methods that are fast and cheap, or even profitable.

Fastest Profitable Methods
I'll show the fastest low level pathway in a moment, but I'm going to start with the fast profitable methods, so these methods will make you money while giving high XP per hour.

The first one is only slightly profitable, and that is adding dragonstone tips to runite bolts. This brings in about 300k in profit per hour, while giving 240k fletching XP. If you did this from level 71 to 99, you would profit over 10 mil.

But this next one, going from unlock to 99, you'll profit around 100 mil at the current prices, but I don't know how long that's going to last. The method I'm talking about is using onyx tips on runite bolts. This profits over 1 mil GP per hour, while giving 280k fletching XP per hour.

Diamond dragon bolts are one of the most commonly used bolts at bosses and in PvM, due to their defence ignoring effect. Well it seems that currently not enough players make them since its not an overly inviting fletching method, but its currently super profitable, giving nearly 2 mil GP per hour while earning 200k XP per hour.

Also at 84 fletching, you can use ruby bolt tips on dragon bolts. These are another bolt that are very commonly used in bossing in particular, and are also extremely profitable to fletch, giving a similar profit rate to diamond dragon bolts. The XP rates are about 180k XP per hour, and its semi afk.
Cheap & Fast Methods
In this next section, I'll show the cheap and fast methods, and all of these methods give over 300k XP per hour, while costing under 50 mil for 99.

With level 76 fletching, you can add amethyst bolt tips to broad bolts. This requires the broader fletching slayer unlock to make them, and the GP cost is very minimal from these. Its about 1GP per XP, so going to 99 is going to cost around 10 mil. The XP rates are over 300k per hour, while being semi afk. Well its not really afk, but its far far less click intensive than darts and bolts.

At 82 fletching you can begin making amethyst arrows, which give an XP rate of 600k per hour. The prices of these can fluctuate a bit, so its recommended to leave your offer in the grand exchange overnight at a lower price.

At 90 fletching, you can start making dragon arrows, which are even cheaper than amethyst and give more XP per hour, reaching 675k. Overall going from 90 to 99 with dragon arrows is going to cost about 20 mil.

Another cheap and fast method is making dragon javelins at level 92, where they give exactly the same XP rate as dragon arrows. They are slightly more expensive, so I would generally recommend arrows instead, but in some cases javelins can be cheaper.
Fastest Way to 99 Fletching
Next, I'm going to show you the absolute fastest way to level 99 fletching, and that is through fletching darts.

Its possible to get over 5 mil XP per hour with the highest tier dart, and for the first dart, you need level 10 fletching for bronze darts, so the fastest way to level 10 is by making bronze arrows. You need to make about 400 bronze arrows to reach 10, but you don't actually have to reach level 10, and this is because you can use dragon fruit pies to boost by 4 levels. So this means you only need to reach 6 fletching with bronze arrows, then you can start on bronze darts. Dragon fruit pies can be used to do methods that you haven't unlocked yet, which can greatly speed up the XP rates.

After bronze darts, you continue making the best darts possible through to 99 for the fastest experience. Rune darts are particularly expensive to make, so a lot of players choose to skip making those. There are no requirements to fletch darts, you only need to complete the Tourist Trap quest to be able to smith dart tips, not fletch them.

The record time for 99 fletching is 2 and a half hours, and Sherlockness used darts to achieve this. He also used windows mouse keys, which you can set up by searching for mouse keys, then you adjust the acceleration and speed, then you can use your numpad to fletch faster.

More realistically, its going to take at least 6 hours if you use your mouse, or at least 4 hours if you use mouse keys, which are both still very quick for a 99.
Overall the total cost of 1 to 99 fletching with darts is around 250 mil, if you do the best darts you can, which isn't that expensive when you consider the speed.
Alternative Methods
An excellent alternative to darts, which is still super fast, is making bolts. These are generally cheaper than darts, but they give less XP per click.

Steel, mithril, adamant, rune and dragon bolts are all around 4 GP per XP, meaning its only about 50 mil to reach 99. The XP rates are still in the millions for bolts, where if you made the best bolt possible to 99, it would take as little as 6 hours.

In particular, dragon bolts can be cheap and fast depending on the grand exchange. A couple of months ago, I bought 100 thousand unfinished dragon bolts for cheaper than the price of a finished bolt, so the pricing is market dependent. If you fletched 3 sets of dragon bolts every tick, which is easily doable with mousekeys, you can expect over 2 mil XP per hour.
But even as low as steel bolts are a great option since they have high trade volumes and are only around 4 GP per XP.

So darts and bolts are the absolute fastest ways to reach 99 fletching, but if you want to train at a lower cost but still very quickly, you can fletch dragon bolts, then add ruby or diamond bolt tips to them. This combines a fairly expensive method with a highly profitable one.
Fastest Ironman Methods
To finish, I'm going to talk about fast ironman fletching methods.

Trouble Brewing used to be extremely good for Ironmen, but with a recent update, its not really as fast anymore. It is still a decent training method though since it doesn't require any supplies, you just need to have completed the cabin fever quest. The method involves cutting the scrapey tree until you have an inventory of bark, then you spam your knife on the bark to get fletching XP.

A very common Ironman fletching method is making broad arrows at level 52 fletching. This requires the broader fletching unlock for 300 slayer points, then you buy broad arrow tips from a slayer master, and fletch them with headless arrows. Overall its about 200k XP per hour if you make the headless arrows and then the broad arrows. If you already have the headless arrows, its more like 450k XP per hour.

At 55 fletching, you can make broad bolts, which are also a part of the broader fletching unlock from a slayer master. These are also great to make, similar to broad arrows, but with these you don't need to make any headless arrows since you just add feathers.

From Miscellania, Ironmen can gather maple logs to fletch into maple longbows. This can be an excellent income source since you can alch the bows for a decent profit. Its a great method for ironmen that are passively collecting materials from Miscellania, although the XP rates are only about 100k for maple longs.
Anyways, that's 15 fast ways to 99 fletching. Thanks for reading.
