Free 7-Day Old School Runescape Membership (OSRS: Mobile Release)

What’s going on guys! My name is Theoatrix, and today I will be talking about the full release of Old School Runescape Mobile to iOS and Android devices. It is completely free to play. So, you can make an account and start playing straight away with no payment methods or anything. In order to run the App, you will need at least iOS 10, which caps out at anything above an iPhone 4, and for Android users, you will need at least Android 5.0 lollipop, and they just release 9.0 this year. So, a lot of Android devices are compatible. I had a few mates telling me that you can get 7 days of free membership via Old School Mobile, and this article will basically show exactly how to claim the free week of membership, and a couple of useful pointers.

If you are an older player that currently is a member, you cannot claim this free 7 days. But, if you are currently a non-member that has played members before, you can still use this trial. This trial only works once per account, whether it be an iCloud account for the iOS Store, or a Google account for the Google Play Store. So, I made myself an account, and pretty interestingly, I did not have to verify my email address. It just let me start playing, which is kind of cool.

They made the tutorial options really native for mobile, so it is really easy to follow and if you can be bothered reading through, it will actually teach you all of the basics of the game.

One important thing to remember is that you can only set your Ironman mode on the Tutorial Island. Ironmen cannot trade with other players. So, if you would like to play a solo type of account, make sure to speak to the Ironman Tutor at the end of the Island.

Now that I am off the island, I am going to show you how to get a free week of membership.

So, what you have to do is go all the way to the bottom left in your account options, and it says at the top ‘open store’.

By clicking on that, it will show the membership options available, and it says ‘start trial' for any of the membership packages.

So, once I click ‘subscribe', my account gets 7 days of membership. It does not get 37, or any more than 7, which shows that you will only get charged for that membership if you do not cancel it after the full 7 days.

You can see now that I have hopped to a members’ world, and I have 7 days of membership.

If you would like to cancel your membership, you can click on 'view inbox’, and that will take you to the account settings already logged in.

Then, you go to the final option on the membership side of the page, and you will need to log in again. Then, you can click the ‘cancel’ button all the way on the right for your membership.

Then click ‘cancel agreement’.

That will leave you with 7 days membership, and you will not get charged after those 7 days. Of course, if you are looking to become a member anyway, then I would highly suggest buying a membership package rather than buying bonds, because you get that extra 7 days. So, yeah, that it how to get free membership. If you are new, just go ahead and claim the free week of membership. I hope you learned something interesting today or enjoyed. If you did, be sure to leave a like, and make sure to subscribe if you are new. As always, thanks for reading this article, and have a nice day!
