Alternative 1-99 Prayer Training Method (Slayer + Magic XP)
What’s going on guys! My name is Theoatrix, and today I have a 99 Prayer training method that a lot of people do not know exist,

and it also gives Slayer XP and Slayer Points as well.

This method will not give you the fastest XP in the game. But, it is very cost effective method, which basically means that you will not spend a lot to train your Prayer, and you get a range of other benefits out of it as well.

It is also really enjoyable, and completely changes how you train your Slayer in Old School Runescape. So, I will get into explaining the method. The idea behind it is that the Ensouled Monsters that you can spawn from the Arceuus Spellbook do in fact count towards your Slayer Task.

Let’s say that you get a task of Bloodvelds to kill 200 Bloodvelds. Bloodvelds are a task that does not really make any money, and sink quite a bit of money in cannonballs. So, instead, you can go to the Grand Exchange and buy 200 Ensouled Bloodveld Heads, and then go and summon them at the Arceuus Altar, and kill 200 Ensouled Bloodvelds. Doing a normal Bloodveld task, you get Hitpoints, Combat and Slayer XP.

But, by completing the whole task using Ensouled Heads, you get a lot of Magic XP from summoning, Hitpoints XP, Combat XP, Slayer XP and a lot of Prayer XP.

Every Ensouled Monster has a total of 35 Hitpoints. So, that makes you finish the task much faster than doing the normal task, especially if you are not using a cannon. Also, doing Ensouled Heads normally, you do not get the extra benefit of the Slayer Helmet. So, by wearing the Slayer Helmet, you can get a 15% Attack and Strength boost, and you get Slayer XP plus Slayer points for tasks that you would normally skip. There are a lot of incredibly slow tasks that you can do instead using Ensouled heads. An example is Elves. Most of these tasks are cannon-able tasks. The most efficient way to do these tasks for Slayer XP is to cannon them. But, if you do not like these tasks, instead of skipping or blocking them, why not get some really cheap Prayer XP and free Slayer points?

The XP rates with a lot of these is a lot quicker than doing Dragon Bones at the Gilded Altar. Something to keep in mind is that it can take some time to buy heads sometimes. Most of the higher level heads have a very large supply on the Grand Exchange. But, those lower level ones like Chaos Druids, Dogs or Bears may have a lower supply. In saying that, when you get a task of Dogs or Bears, you will never really get assigned over 100 of them. So, there is still a good chance that you will be able to buy them all.

So, right now I am going to show the GP / XP for each of the heads that have a Slayer Task. You can tell that these are very cheap ways to get your Prayer up. Troll heads are only 3.8 GP / XP, which means that it will cost under 50 000 000 getting to 99 Prayer. By doing this method, you will achieve 99 Prayer around the time that you have 95 Slayer. Obviously, that changes a lot depending on how many tasks you choose to do at Ensouled Heads. But, by doing the profitable Slayer Tasks normally, and then doing the ones where you would lose money at Ensouled Heads, you actually profit getting to 99 Prayer and 95 Slayer.

I would like to give a thank you to Soul Split for teaching me about this method. Soul Split actually did this method to 99 Prayer, and he said that it made the 99 Prayer and Slayer grind so much more enjoyable and much more different compared to regular Slayer.

I hope you learned something interesting today or enjoyed. If you did, be sure to leave a like, and make sure to subscribe if you are new. Let me know if you have any tips or pointers for this method in the comments. As always, thanks for reading this article, and have a nice day!
